Security and trust
Independent venues and their patrons deserve checkout as secure as the big platforms—without holding your ticket revenue, showing ads at checkout, or building a shared database of who bought where. Here is how we protect payments and keep each venue's patron list separate.
Payments you can trust
- Your sales go to your bank: Card payments run through Stripe Connect. You remain merchant of record; ticket revenue deposits to your Stripe account on Stripe's normal payout schedule.
- Card numbers stay with Stripe: Checkout uses Stripe Elements. We never store or handle full card numbers—card processing stays with Stripe under PCI SAQ-A.
- Fees shown before patrons pay: The flat 5.0% platform fee appears as its own line item at checkout, before anyone confirms payment.
Your patrons, your data
- Your patron list stays yours: Orders, buyer details, and sales reports belong to your venue only. We don't combine buyer histories across venues or sell patron profiles.
- No ads on checkout: The ticket purchase page has no third-party ad cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking scripts.
- Exports when you need them: CSV order exports are always available—download your sales for bookkeeping without upgrading tiers.
Built to stay online
- Encrypted connections: Data in transit is encrypted across our hosting network.
- Payment confirmations verified: We verify Stripe payment notifications before tickets are issued.
- Staff sign-in for venue admin: Venue tools require authenticated team members; internal ops tools aren't exposed on public routes.

If you believe you've found a security issue, email security@yourboxoffice.net with steps to reproduce. We acknowledge actionable reports within two business days.
